I am at the top (or close to it) and the last thing I need is your worthless hide obstructing my view. Say what you want about law firms but they have their structure right. I’m not here to be mentored or do any mentoring. Teaching some one else only dilutes your own value. The only reason to help anyone ever is immediate convenience. That’s why the Princess has a key to the apartment. Any successful person who tells you different is creating a facade so you are not in a position to retaliate when you’re cast aside.  You think I worry about my job? Please.  Those frazzled fat partners need me like they need the hierarchy (caffeine, nicotine, alcohol and strange sex).  My billables pay for all of that. 

Not only will I climb a ladder and then kick it over when I get to the top, I will pull someone over the side who extends a hand. You think that’s wrong? Go join your friends in the unemployment line. Say hi to Benito for me.

So I am talking to this loose chick at a bar, the kind who will take care of business in the bar so you don’t have to take her back to your place (where your lazy gf probably blew off work AGAIN).  I go to get her another midori sour and when I get back Benito is talking to her about the blog. Fine whatever. But then SHE says “Wow, a writer AND an actor. This is a girl’s lucky night.” WTF?! And that’s when your man Mike Triforce had to regulate.

I put myself between the two of them. I somehow let it slip Benito lives at home with his mom. His unemployment came up when I mentioned the money he owes me. He doesn’t owe me a dime, but he IS unemployed. I mentioned corporate lawyering was my day job and the Mustang was my “fun” car. I was prepared for him to counter with the Princess but he just slunk away. I bet he won’t even take this post down because other blogs leave up self-criticism. But that’s in the comment section, not from a fellow writer. Worst I will get is a non serious category or tag.

But for you winners out there perception is truth. If the perception of Johnny Depp was that he was a B actor guess what? Nobody is seeing his movies. “But Triforce his already rich” ha ha. Idiots. Do you know how much money it takes to maintain the actor lifestyle? Not to mention the fact that if studios stopped hiring him he would finance his own films to star in (rather than be a rich nobody) and that cleans out actors real quick.

So the next time your buddy whose drowning in loans, at a dead end job or unemployed tries to roll up on your woman, shoot down whatever creative venture he cites as a reason to go on living. I mean he’ll this thing was on blogspot six weeks ago. 10,000 hits? Whatever. More people (if groupies can be considered that) have seen Gene Simmons’ dick.
