Hi kids.  Thanks for your patience.  Still trying to figure out this whole blog thing.  First a couple of announcements: Please direct all questions about KF Li to Mike Triforce.  Even those of us who will never own a new car (me) know that an 8.5% interest rate is criminal.  I do not have Mike Triforce’s number and no, I do not know whether he and the Princess have an “arrangement.” I will say this though, as far as I know he is straight and I am the first to admit that that question is more than legitimate. To our LGBT friends do not worry, Triforce is NOT your voice on this blog.

Next, I am introducing a new post entitled “Post of the Week” which will be a longer post about a subject of interest and since both Alpha Man and Simon’s Girlfriend have informed me I have done nothing for Black History Month, the first post of the week will go to Alpha Man.  Triforce is looking at a draft and mumbled something about a conspiracy theory.

This is not a political blog.  The purpose is to provide advice, information and entertainment to young people struggling with the prospect of taking on or paying off student debt.  However, that does not mean I will censor my writers.  I am the founder and administrator of this blog and I can promise you there is no agenda here.

Next, I am trying to give back to our community.  That is why I am attempting to enter the Pepsi Refresh contest to get funding for a first of its kind scholarship: one that goes to pay off student loans.  More on that if my idea gets approved.  Second, every week I am going to write a celebrity and ask them for the money to do the same.  Of course by “write them” I mean post a letter to them on the blog and by “every week” of course I mean several times a month.  Hey! Nobody is getting paid here.  I certainly don’t have an understudy.
